This is the page planners send to their boss. Per-day rates on the gear, three packages that cover most events, and a clear answer on what is and isn't in the bill. If you don't see what you need, call (609) 439-4800 — we will quote it the same day.
Commission
What the in-house AV provider pays the hotel out of your invoice. That's not a service fee — it's a commission. Encore's 2026 SEC filing confirms it pays venue partners revenue-based commissions; the rate is set per property and is not published.
Liaison fee
What some hotels charge you to bring your own AV. Ask for the amount in writing before you sign — we will help you negotiate it down or out as part of the room block.

Packages
Each one is a complete deliverable — gear, crew, delivery, strike. Line-itemed invoice. Compare line-for-line to the in-house quote and the difference is the commission you used to bake in.

No commission
We pay no one a cut of your invoice — not the hotel, not the planner. The in-house model pays the venue a revenue-based commission (confirmed in Encore's own SEC filing), and that cost lands in your rate.
No service charge
No 20–24% "service charge" line tacked onto the subtotal. Labor is billed at the published ST/OT hourly rates above — nothing else.
Line-item invoices
Every cable, every tech-hour, every fee printed on the invoice before you sign. Compare it line-for-line against any in-house quote — that is the whole point of this page.

Day rate card
Day rate is per day. Week rate is the 3-day cap (3× day, never more). Prices below are pulled live from our rental system. Long-term and recurring-client rates quoted per project.

FAQ
Because the in-house provider pays the hotel a commission on the invoice. Encore's 2026 SEC filing confirms the model — it records commissions paid to venues as a cost of revenue — but the rate is set per property and is not published. That commission has to come from somewhere, so it gets baked into the rate. We don't have that cost. Same gear, different math.
No. We do not pay the hotel, the planner, or anyone else. The price you see is the price you pay. The hotel gets a separate rev-share if we are their white-label in-house partner — but that is a separate contract, not a hidden line.
All major credit cards, ACH transfer, checks, and money orders. ACH and check have no processing fee. Credit and debit card payments add a 3% convenience fee, per our standard rental terms — the same fee most event vendors pass through to cover card processing. Payment is due before the rental or event date. A valid card is kept on file regardless of the invoice payment method.
7+ days out: no penalty, full refund. Between 48 hours and 7 days: 50% fee. Less than 48 hours: full bill. Cancellations due to acts of God (illness, weather, death in the family, etc.) are charged only the actual costs we've already incurred, as long as the job is rescheduled within 3 months. If it isn't rescheduled, the fee is 25% of the order total. We're flexible when the world gets weird — call us.
Yes. Encore's own SEC filing says planners 'retain the option to use outside providers.' Some hotels will charge a small outside-vendor liaison fee. We will help you negotiate that down or eliminate it as part of the room block.
Every item has a 3-day week rate (3× the day rate, capped at the weekly number). Long-term rates (month, season) quoted per project. Recurring clients (4+ events/yr) get 10% off.
Essential: 7 days. Production: 2–4 weeks. Concert: 4–8 weeks. We do emergency same-day for existing clients when crews and gear are open.
Yes. Anywhere on the East Coast and most of the Midwest. Travel costs (per-diem, lodging, fuel) are quoted per project and added to the package.
